Giris Akut gastrointestinal sistem (GIS) kanamasi toplumda yaygin olarak gorulen onemli gastroenterolojik sorunlardan biridir. Ust GIS kanamasinda tahmin edilen yillik insidans her 100.000 kiside 100 (1), alt GIS kanamasinda her 100.000 kiside 20 olarak bildirilmistir (2).
